These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by Platinum Auto Care LLC (“Platinum,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) including mobile services, valet services, and in-shop services performed in Oregon and Washington.

By booking, authorizing, or receiving services from Platinum Auto Care LLC, the client (“you,” “your”) agrees to the following:

1. Scope of Work & Authorization

Platinum Auto Care LLC will perform only the services expressly approved by the client prior to work beginning.

  • Platinum is not responsible for outcomes, damage, or concerns related to:
    • Work outside the approved scope
    • Pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:
      • Scratches, dents, oxidation, clear-coat failure
      • Repainted or body-repaired panels
      • Interior wear, stains, odors, mold
      • Mechanical or electrical issues
      • Aftermarket modifications
  • Any additional services requested after work has begun must be approved in writing (text or email) and may result in additional charges.

2. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due in full immediately upon service completion, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
  • Platinum Auto Care LLC reserves the right to withhold vehicle release, keys, or results until payment is received.

Accepted Payment Methods

  • Cash
  • Debit / Credit Card
  • Company Check (corporate clients only)

Credit Card Processing Fee

  • For invoices over $2,000, a 3% credit card processing fee will be automatically applied.

Late Payments

  • Any unpaid balance 30 days after invoice date will incur a 10% late fee, applied monthly until paid in full.
  • Accounts with unpaid balances may be:
    • Placed on hold
    • Sent to collections
    • Declined future service

Returned / Bounced Checks

  • Company checks only are accepted.
  • Any returned or insufficient-funds check will result in:
    • A returned check fee of $75
    • Immediate requirement of certified funds or card payment
  • Repeated payment issues may result in permanent refusal of check payments or services.

3. Mechanic’s Lien & Right to Secure Payment

Where permitted by law, Platinum Auto Care LLC reserves the right to assert a mechanic’s lien or similar legal security interest against the vehicle for unpaid labor, materials, storage, or services rendered.

  • This includes services performed in both Oregon and Washington
  • Clients acknowledge that failure to pay may result in:
    • Filing of a lien
    • Legal recovery of the unpaid balance
    • Associated costs, including storage and administrative fees

4. Storage Fees (In-Shop Services)

  • Vehicles must be picked up within 24 hours of service completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Vehicles left beyond this period will incur a storage fee of $75 per day, charged daily.
  • Platinum Auto Care LLC is not responsible for theft, damage, or environmental exposure for vehicles left beyond the pickup window.

5. Mobile Service Disclaimer

Mobile services are performed at the client’s requested location.

  • The client is responsible for providing:
    • Safe, legal access to the vehicle
    • Adequate workspace
    • Authorization to be on the property
  • Platinum is not liable for issues caused by:
    • Weather conditions
    • Environmental contaminants
    • Limited or unsafe working conditions
  • Platinum reserves the right to reschedule, relocate, or cancel services if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable.

6. Valet Service – Enhanced Liability Protection

By authorizing valet pickup or drop-off, the client expressly agrees that:

  • The vehicle is:
    • Legally registered
    • Properly insured
    • Mechanically safe to operate
  • Platinum Auto Care LLC is not responsible for:
    • Mechanical failures
    • Pre-existing damage
    • Alignment, suspension, drivability issues
    • Warning lights or system faults unrelated to detailing or protection services
  • Platinum is not responsible for personal property left in the vehicle.

Clients are strongly advised to:

  • Remove all valuables
  • Disclose any known mechanical or operational issues prior to transport

7. Fleet & Commercial Accounts

Fleet services are subject to the following additional terms:

  • Fleet clients are responsible for:
    • Ensuring vehicles are accessible and safe to service
    • Communicating vehicle condition, usage, and scheduling requirements
  • Platinum Auto Care LLC is not responsible for:
    • Accelerated wear due to commercial use
    • Damage caused by drivers, operators, or third parties
  • Fleet invoices may be subject to:
    • Contract-specific pricing
    • Net payment terms if agreed in writing
  • Late fleet payments are subject to the same 10% monthly late fee and lien rights.

8. Results, Expectations & Acceptance of Service

All services are improvement-based, not restorative.

  • Results vary based on vehicle condition and history.
  • Minor imperfections do not constitute grounds for non-payment.
  • Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of completion.
  • Failure to report concerns within this timeframe constitutes acceptance of services rendered.

9. No Guarantee Outside Approved Services

Platinum Auto Care LLC does not guarantee:

  • Longevity affected by environmental exposure, improper maintenance, accidents, or third-party work
  • Outcomes on damaged, neglected, or previously repaired surfaces

10. Discrimination, Harassment & Conduct Policy

Platinum Auto Care LLC enforces a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, harassment, or abusive behavior toward our team.

Any such behavior may result in:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Removal from the property
  • Permanent refusal of future services without refund

11. Reviews & Resolution Policy

Platinum strives for 5-star service experiences.

  • Clients agree to contact Platinum Auto Care LLC directly to resolve concerns prior to public posting.
  • False, misleading, or defamatory statements may be disputed.

12. Chargebacks & Disputes

By authorizing services, the client agrees:

  • Not to initiate chargebacks for completed services
  • To resolve billing disputes directly with Platinum first

Chargebacks may be contested using documentation including approvals, photos, and communications.

13. Photo & Media Consent

Unless otherwise requested in writing, clients grant Platinum Auto Care LLC permission to photograph or record vehicles for marketing and portfolio use.

14. Force Majeure

Platinum Auto Care LLC is not liable for delays or failure due to events beyond our control, including weather, natural disasters, supply delays, or governmental actions.

15. Limitation of Liability

Platinum Auto Care LLC’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by:

  • Oregon law for services performed in Oregon
  • Washington law for services performed in Washington

17. Right to Refuse Service

Platinum Auto Care LLC reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for reasons including unsafe conditions, abusive behavior, or non-payment history.

18. Agreement & Acceptance

By booking, authorizing, or paying for services, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions in full.


Platinum Auto Care LLC – Contractor & Employee Protection Addendum

This Addendum is incorporated into and made part of the Platinum Auto Care LLC Terms & Conditions.

A. Independent Contractors & Employees

Platinum Auto Care LLC utilizes a combination of employees and independent contractors to perform services.

  • All team members are authorized representatives of Platinum Auto Care LLC while performing assigned duties.
  • Clients agree that any dispute, complaint, or claim related to services provided must be directed solely to Platinum Auto Care LLC, not to individual workers.

B. No Personal Liability of Team Members

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Clients agree not to pursue personal claims against:
    • Employees
    • Independent contractors
    • Subcontractors
    • Agents or representatives of Platinum Auto Care LLC
  • Any claims arising from services rendered must be brought only against Platinum Auto Care LLC as a business entity.

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Alleged property damage
  • Service dissatisfaction
  • Conduct-related complaints
  • Valet or mobile service claims

C. Harassment, Discrimination & Safe Workplace Policy

Platinum Auto Care LLC is committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and discrimination-free workplace.

  • Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or abusive behavior toward any Platinum team member will not be tolerated.
  • If such behavior occurs, Platinum Auto Care LLC reserves the right to:
    • Immediately terminate service
    • Remove personnel from the location
    • Refuse future services without refund

Clients acknowledge that hostile or discriminatory conduct voids any obligation for Platinum to continue service.

D. No Recording or Surveillance Without Consent

Clients may not:

  • Record audio or video of Platinum Auto Care LLC employees or contractors
  • Use surveillance footage to harass, intimidate, or misrepresent services

…without prior written consent, except where required by law.

Unauthorized recording or misuse of footage may result in service termination and legal action.

E. Indemnification

Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Platinum Auto Care LLC, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from:

  • Unsafe working conditions
  • Client-provided locations or property
  • Third-party interference
  • False or misleading claims

Platinum Auto Care LLC – Arbitration & Dispute Resolution Clause

This section applies to ALL disputes, claims, or controversies arising out of or relating to services provided by Platinum Auto Care LLC.

F. Mandatory Binding Arbitration

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Any dispute, claim, or controversy between the client and Platinum Auto Care LLC shall be resolved exclusively through binding arbitration, not in court.
  • Arbitration shall be conducted by a neutral arbitrator under the rules of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) or a comparable arbitration body.
  • Arbitration shall take place:
    • In Oregon for services performed in Oregon
    • In Washington for services performed in Washington

G. Waiver of Jury Trial & Class Actions

By agreeing to these Terms & Conditions, the client:

  • Waives the right to a jury trial
  • Waives the right to participate in any class action, collective action, or representative proceeding

All claims must be brought individually.

H. Attorney’s Fees & Costs

In any arbitration or legal action arising from these Terms & Conditions:

  • The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable:
    • Attorney’s fees
    • Arbitration costs
    • Collection costs
    • Administrative fees

This clause alone dramatically reduces frivolous disputes.

I. Exceptions to Arbitration

Platinum Auto Care LLC reserves the right to pursue:

  • Payment collection
  • Mechanic’s lien enforcement
  • Injunctive relief
  • Small claims actions (where applicable)

…outside of arbitration if legally permitted.

J. Severability

If any portion of this Addendum or the Terms & Conditions is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

K. Acknowledgment & Acceptance

By booking, authorizing, or paying for services, the client acknowledges and agrees that:

  • These Addendums are part of the Platinum Auto Care LLC Terms & Conditions
  • Arbitration is mandatory
  • Individual claims only (no class actions)
  • Team members are protected from personal liability
